Effie Elleene Batchelor of Bedford passed away Thursday at White River Lodge at the age of 95.
Born in 1913 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Karl and Marie Heide, Effie worked at M. Fine & Sons, and was a member of First Christian Church, White Shrine, Bedford Order of the Eastern Star, and honorary member of the Stanford Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her daughters Yvonne, Jan, and Sandra, 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Charles.
Services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:00pm at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 6:00pm Sunday at Day & Carter.
