Morris Robert Ford of Bedford, known to friends and family as “Henry,” passed away Friday evening at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 82.
Born in 1926 to Opal and Mary Ford, Morris was a veteran of the US Army, retiree from GM, and member of Heltonville Christian Church.
He is survived by his sons John and Butch, daughters Julie, Polly and Mary Beth, brothers Ken, Bill and Paul, sisters Joann and Jane, 12 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Josephine.
Services will be held tomorrow morning at 11:00am at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Gilgal Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00pm tonight and against from 10:00am until time of service tomorrow at Day & Carter.
