Hugh Phillip Allen of Brownstown, formerly of both Mitchell and Florida, passed away Thursday morning at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour at the age of 64.
Born in 1944 in Mitchell to Ray and Louise Allen, Hugh was a mechanic at Grant’s Body Shop and Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his mother, daughters Bambi and Wendy, brothers Rodney and Ray Jr., sisters Judy and Fredricka, and 8 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, and brother Mark.
Graveside services will be held tomorrow morning at 11:00am at Mitchell Cemetery with burial to follow.
No visitation has been scheduled.
