Helen L. Strange of Mitchell passed away Monday at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 88.
Born in 1920 in Mitchell to William and Flonia Strange, Helen worked at Reliance Manufacturing and M. Fine and Son, and was a member of Mitchell Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her daughter Pat, niece and caregiver Judy, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Louella and Betty.
Services will be held Thursday morning at 11:00am at the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mitchell Cemetery.
Visitation will be tomorrow from 4:00 until 8:00pm and again from 10:00am until time of service Thursday at Chastain.
