Jeffrey T. Stewart of Bedford passed away Saturday morning at Bedford Regional Medical Center at the age of 49.
Born in 1959 in Bedford to Larry and Judith Stewart, Jeffrey was a heavy equipment operator for Crider and Crider in Bloomington, member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local #841, and of Gulletts Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughters Kristen, Hannah and Ashley, grandmother Mary, brother Bradley, sister Lina, 2 granddaughters, one niece and one nephew.
He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00pm today and again from 9:00am until time of service tomorrow at Day & Carter.
