Sherry Kendal of Bedford passed Tuesday evening, December 30, 2008 at her home at the age of 54.
Born in 1954 to parents Charles P. and Kathryn M. Hedrick, Sherry worked for 33 years in the dietary department of Mitchell Manor, graduated from Mitchell High School in 1972, and was a member of the First Christian Church of Christ in Mitchell.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey; daughter, Holly and her husband, Nathan; son, Anthony and his wife, Brittany; two granddaughters, Kathryn and Brooklyn; sister, Sheila and her husband, George; mother-in-law, Anetra; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and several, great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Charlotte; and her father-in-law Donald.
Services will be held Sunday, January 4th, 2009 in the Haverly Chapel of the Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home at 2:00pm with burial to follow at Mitchell Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday, January 3rd, 2009 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in the Haverly Chapel of Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home.
