Geneva A. Grisson Bass of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Martin County, passed away tuesday at Doctor’s Hospital in Sarasota at the age of 75.
Born in 1933 in Lawrence County to Elmer and Gertie Grissom, Geneva was a retiree of NSWC Crane and member of the First Baptist Church in Williams.
She is survived by her husband Robert, sons Dave, John and Dan, daughter Jennifer, step-sons Eric and Michael, sisters Leona and Genie, 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Wahneeta.
Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Williams with burial to follow at Mount Olive Cemetery.
Visitation will be tomorrow from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford.
