Ilena Chapman of Monticello, formerly of Williams, passed away Wednesday morning at Monticello Assisted Living Center at the age of 91.
Born in 1917 in Lawrence County to Ben and Hazel Shelton, Ilena worked at M. Fine & Sons and Monticello Health Care and attended Port William Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter Kaye, sisters Geneva and Wanda, bother Orville, 1 grandson, 3 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Everett, brothers James and Gerald and sisters Louise, Regina, Frances and Marcella.
Graveside services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:00pm at Port William Cemetery with burial to follow.
No visitation is scheduled.
