Elta D. Woodsmall of Mitchell passed away yesterday at Mitchell Manor at the age of 74.
Born in 1934 in Lawrence County to Quinton Johnson and Vena Bridwell, Elta was a retiree of NSWC Crane, Air Force veteran of the Korean War and member of the Wesleyan Church in Mitchell.
She is survived by her daughters Kimberly, Kelly and Karol, son Kevin, brother Leon, sisters Joyce, pat and Norma, 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, step-father Glenn, brothers Don and Pete, sister Venita and 1 great grandson.
Services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Pleasant Run Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2:00 until 8:00pm today and again from 10:00am until time of service tomorrow at Day & Carter.
