Betty Jeanette Spires of Needmore passed away Thursday night at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 76.
Born in 1931 in Bedford to Emery and Marguerite Charles, Betty was an assembler at RCA in Bloomington and member of Gulletts Creek Bapist Church.
She is survived by her daughters Debra and Leann, son Jerry, sisters Gloria and Wanda, brothers Jack and Robert, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held this morning at 10:00am at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial following at Talbott Cemetery.
