Robert A. Williams of Bedford passed away Tuesday night at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 61.
Born in 1946 in Owyhee, Nevada to Ralph and Mary Williams, Robert was a 21-year veteran of the US Navy, retiree of GE in Bloomington, and elder in the Puyallup Indian tribe in Tacoma, Washington.
He is survived by his son Keith, daughters Stacy, Heather, and Amy Lee, sister Geneva, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held tomorrow morning at 10:00am at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary, with cremation and service at sea conducted at a later date.
Visitation is from 4:00 until 8:00pm today at Day & Carter.
