The Reverend Robert C. Phillips of Bedford passed away Sunday morning in Clayton, Indiana at the age of 85.
Born in 1922 in Bedford to Fess and Leah Phillips, Robert was a retired Baptist minister, having served in churches in Bedford, Silverville, Avoca, Charlestown, Amo and also in Mobile, Alabama.
He is survived by his daughter Sue, sister Betty, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Doris, and brothers Bruce, Roy and Winfred.
Services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 at Crossroads Community Church with burial to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00pm tomorrow at the church.
