Darrell C. Chastain of Bedford passed away Thursday morning at Garden Villa at the age of 72.
Born in 1935 in Washington County to Clyde and Elizabeth Chastain, Darrell was a retiree of GM Powertrain and member of Life Tabernacle.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, daughters Darlene, Jana and Kelly, step-children Cathy and Michael, brother Stanley, sister Charlann, 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Brenda, brother Charles, and sisters Carolyn and Christina.
Services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:00pm at the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lawrenceport Cemetery.
Visitation will be tonight from 4:00 until 8:00pm and again from 11:00am until time of service tomorrow at Chastain.
