Raymond Pennington of Bedford, formerly of Altoona, Florida, and known to friends and family as “Dale,” passed away sunday night at Stonebridge Health Campus at the age of 84.
Born in 1923 in Lawrence County to Raymond and Beulah Pennington, Dale was a retired electrical motor repairman and tech at NSWC Crane, and Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife Betty, sons Jan and Jack, daughter Joan, brother Dean, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held tomorrow morning at 11:00am at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with burial to follow.
No visitation has been scheduled.
