Charles Robert Parson of Mitchell passed away Monday morning in Mitchell at the age of 63.
Born in 1944 in Martin County to Walter Parson and Marjorie Edwards, Charles was a retiree of Kimball Office in Salem and also worked at Carpenter Body Works in Mitchell, was a member of Mitchell Church of Christ, a Navy veteran, member of Mitchell VFW and American Legion and former president of Mitchell Little League Baseball.
He is survived by his mother Marjorie, wife Paula, sons Paul and Jeremy, daughters Gwen and Debra, brothers Rick and Robby, and 9 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father Walter.
Services will be held Friday morning at 10:00am at Cresthaven Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be tomorrow night from 5:00 until 8:00pm at Cresthaven.
