Clarence William Johnson of Bedford, known to friends and family as “Bill,” passed away early yesterday morning at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 70.
Born in 1937 in Louisville, Kentucky to Ivory and Lillian Johnson, Bill was a retiree of RCA in Bloomington and avid member of PETA.
He is survived by his first wife Betty, second wife Lola, son Bill Jr., daughter Kathy, brothers Soap and Robert, sister Donna, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Robert, and sister Mary Louise.
Services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:00 at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mundell Cemetery.
Visitation will be tomorrow night from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Ferguson-Lee.
