Iris Holmes of Bedford passed away Monday morning at Stonebridge Health Campus at the age of 86.
Born in 1921 in Dickinson Center, New York to Charles and Delia Reid, Iris was a seamstress with various companies in Massena, New York, and member of 1st United Methodist Church in Massena.
She is survived by her husband Charles, daughter Nadine, son Gary, 20 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sons David and Steven, brothers Charles and Earnest, sister Thelma, and 1 sister in infancy.
No memorial service is scheduled locally, however a service will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home in Massena, New York at a later date with burial to follow at Chasm Falls Cemetery.
