John Reid Hall of Bedford passed away Friday night at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford at the age of 86.
Born in 1921 in Lawrence County to Samuel and Ida Hall, John was a retiree of the Indiana Department of Labor, member of Bedford First Baptist Church, Capitol City Masonic Lodge #312, Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine in Indianapolis and American Legion Gillen Post #33.
He is survived by his daughter Carolyn, sons Thomas, Joseph and John, and 5 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Services will be held this afternoon at 3:00pm at the Elmwood Chapel Of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow tomorrow at 10:00am at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood.
No visitation is scheduled.
