Reece Jones of Bedford passed away early Friday morning at his home following a lengthy illness at the age of 74.
Born in 1933 in Lawrence County to Reese and Aleen Jones, Senior, Reese was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by his companion Linda Oliver, daughters Belinda, Evelyn a nd Rita, step-son Alvin, brother Wayne, sisters Violet, Dorothy, Phyllis and Maxine, 21 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Buster and grandson Ronnie.
Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:00pm at Bryantsville Cemetery.
No visitation has been scheduled.
